Brian Parrott possesses a relentless work ethic with a NY drive and Malibu style, PNW creativity and Midwestern honesty…very capable  with problem solving/opportunity analysis, dealing with human behavior and connecting with other people.  He is quietly confident and sometimes ‘outside any box’, but skilled and confident under extreme pressure.

Born into a baseball family (Brooklyn Dodgers-October 3, 1947), son of MLB Executive Harold F. Parrott and Wall Street Secretary Josephine B. Parrott, Brian has NY roots for 10 years, then 7 years in Malibu, California ‘among the musicians and movie stars’…Brian picked up tennis well enough to win the U.S. 16 and Under Public Parks Championships at 16…which led to a college tennis scholarship at Seattle University where he ‘fell in love’ with the Pacific Northwest.

Now after 40 years in Portland, Oregon, Brian made a living teaching, running tennis clubs, building a club while at the same time developing his event staging skills running tournaments, and promoting events which featured Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Tracy Austin, Billie Jean King, Chris Evert and Arthur Ashe.

As a promoter of events, Brian has been directly responsible for four of the top ten sports events to come to Oregon: Three International Davis Cup Ties: Australia (twice: ’81 and ’84), the 2007 World Final Russia vs USA, and the Western Hemisphere Olympic Basketball Qualifying for ’92 Barcelona Olympics which featured the “Dream Team” of Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler.
